1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Careerraft. By using the Platform you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• Your use of the Platform does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

2. Accounts

2.1 Registration

Certain features require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

2.2 Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, please notify us immediately via our contact page or at careerraft.in@gmail.com.

2.3 One account per person

Each individual may maintain only one account. We reserve the right to merge or close duplicate accounts.

3. User conduct

As a user you agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate profile information, including your skills, experience, and qualifications.
• Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to scrape content or interact with the Platform.
• Not share your account or allow others to act on your behalf without disclosure.
• Not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

4. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
• Impersonate any person, company, or entity.
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform.
• Use the Platform to transmit malware, spam, or unsolicited commercial communications.
• Collect or harvest user data without explicit consent.
• Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or technical restrictions.

5. Intellectual property

5.1 Our content

The Careerraft name, logo, design, software, and all original content on the Platform are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

5.2 Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform. This licence ends when you delete your content or close your account.

5.3 Feedback

If you provide suggestions or feedback about the Platform, we may use that feedback without any obligation to you.

6. Third-party links and services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. These are provided for convenience only. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content or practices of any third-party site. Visiting third-party sites is at your own risk.

7. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Any content on the Platform is accurate, current, or complete.
• Any user profile is verified or authentic.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Careerraft and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Platform.
• Reliance on any content or information on the Platform.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed USD $100.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Careerraft and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us via our contact page. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us via our contact page and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for a period of 30 days.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
